A Fresh Start for Families in Crisis

Community Recovery Program

At Hoarding Rescue, we understand that severe hoarding situations often involve much more than clutter. Many families facing unsafe living conditions are also dealing with trauma, financial hardship, disability, aging-related challenges, domestic violence recovery, or overwhelming life circumstances.

That’s why we created the Hoarding Rescue Community Recovery Program — a nationwide initiative dedicated to helping individuals and families who otherwise could not afford critical cleanup services.

How the Program Works

Each quarter, Hoarding Rescue accepts applications from organizations nationwide on behalf of individuals or families in need.

Services May Include

  • Hoarding cleanup services
  • Trash and debris removal
  • Sanitation assistance
  • Property recovery support
  • Compassionate, judgment-free care

Due to the overwhelming need for assistance nationwide, a limited number of projects are selected each quarter.

Organizations We Accept Applications From

  • Women’s shelters
  • Domestic violence recovery programs
  • Senior advocacy organizations
  • Veteran support groups
  • Social workers and case managers
  • Mental health support organizations
  • Churches and nonprofit aid programs
  • Community outreach organizations

Applications are reviewed through organizations, case workers, or verified referral sources.

Our Mission

Our mission is not simply to clean homes — it is to help people move forward with dignity, compassion, and support.

We understand that asking for help can feel overwhelming, emotional, and deeply personal. From the very first phone call, our goal is to create a safe and respectful experience where individuals and families feel heard, understood, and genuinely cared for.

Many members of our team have personally witnessed the impact hoarding can have on families and loved ones, which is why empathy and professionalism remain central to everything we do.

How Applications Are Reviewed

  • Urgency and safety concerns
  • Financial hardship
  • Living conditions
  • Available support systems
  • Overall project scope and feasibility
  • Potential community impact

Our goal is to help as many deserving families as possible while ensuring every selected project receives the care and attention it deserves.

Nationwide Support

Hoarding Rescue proudly serves communities across the United States through our nationwide network of cleanup professionals and support teams.
